Burgundy Blackout Curtains: A Deep, Cozy Color for Bedrooms and Living Rooms
Haven & HearthShare
If your room feels a little flat, a deep, warm color at the window can change the mood fast. This week we are looking at a classic: burgundy.
The BGment Blackout Curtains in Burgundy Red come as a set of 2 panels, each 46 x 72 inches, so you get 92 inches of total flat width. Each panel has 8 silver-color grommets (1.6 inch inner diameter) for hanging on most rods.
What we like
- Blackout, with privacy. They are made to block sunlight (the listing notes darker colors work better), which suits late sleepers and afternoon naps.
- Thermal insulated. The listing describes them as insulating against summer heat and winter chill.
- Same color on both sides. A soft, solid polyester panel with a wrinkle-free finish.
- Easy care. Machine washable on a gentle cycle in cold water. Do not bleach.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants a bedroom, nursery or living room window to feel darker, calmer and a bit more finished. The 72-inch length works well for standard windows, and the grommet top slides smoothly along the rod. Please measure your window width and height before ordering.
